White Rabbit: monsters

Another not-dance but yes-writing event: my short story “Cat into Dog” has been selected for White Rabbit’s regular Live Lit event hosted by ArtsAdmin called “Are You Sitting Comfortably?”. The theme of this outing is MONSTERS. Quoth the site:

An evening of read aloud short stories about MONSTERS, plus B-movie visuals, monster mash music from the 1920s to now, ghastly games, free food served by a lycanthropist waiter, and blood drenched cocktails. (age guidance 16+)
“They say we always get the monsters we deserve, that they are simply a dark reflection of ourselves, our fears and our desires. But what makes a monster?”

It’s on Friday 9 September 2016, 7.30 onwards at Toynbee Studios, 28 Commercial Street, E1 6AB London, United Kingdom. Booking details here.

PS I previously had a story called “It Needs People” selected for their DREAMS evening. It was a larf. But this story is a bit more brutal than that one.
